On May 27, Ling Ji, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy China International Trade Representative, met with a delegation of German small and medium-sized enterprises.

Ling Ji stated that China's ultra-large market, with its complete and highly-effective industrial and supply chain system, and vibrant tech innovation ecosystem, provides numerous opportunities for German SMEs to invest and operate in China. He hopes that China and Germany could jointly uphold free trade and the stability of global industrial and supply chains and remain committed to mutually beneficial cooperation.

Walter Döring, head of the German SME group and chairman of the Senate of Economy Europe, said that the Chinese market holds great appeal for German SMEs. He is ready to play a positive role in helping more German SMEs, especially hidden champion companies enter the Chinese market.
