On April 21, Vice Minister and Deputy China International Trade Representative Ling Ji met with Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Martin Frélich.
Ling said that in recent years, China-Czech trade and economic relations have maintained sound and stable development. China is willing to expand imports of Czech’s competitive products and expand investment cooperation between the two sides in areas such as green, digital and smart manufacturing. China is ready to work with Czech and the EU to strengthen dialogue and exchanges, expand the list of cooperation, and jointly safeguard the rule-based multilateral trading system and oppose protectionism and unilateralism.
Frélich said the Czech Republic attaches importance to the development of economic and trade relations with China. Czech, with traditional advantages in machinery manufacturing, machine tool processing and other industries, is willing to continue to have more cooperation with China. The Czech Republic supports free trade and advocates safeguarding the multilateral trading system. The Czech side supports China and the EU to strengthen communication to promote the stable development of China-EU economic and trade relations.
