On January 17, Ling Jing, Vice Minister and Deputy China International Trade Representative of Commerce, met with Saleh Y. Al-Zaid, President of Aramco Asia and Vice President of Aramco in Beijing.
Ling said that in recent years, the ever-deepening cooperation between the Aramco and Chinese enterprises has made great contributions to the growth of the two-way investment between China and Saudi Arabia. As China is actively promoting green growth, it will provide enormous opportunities for international energy companies, including Aramco. It is hoped that the two sides will further expand and upgrade cooperation in clean energy and high and new technologies and make a greater contribution to the economic and trade relations between China and Saudi Arabia.
Al-Zaid said that Aramco attaches great importance to the Chinese market and believes in China’s long-term growth potential. Aramco is willing to build on the high-quality and efficient implementation of existing projects and actively seek new cooperation opportunities so as to achieve more mutual benefits and win-win results with Chinese partners.
