On November 5, the sub-forum of the 6th Hongqiao International Economic Forum on “Green Investment and Trade for Global Ecological Preservation” was held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai).
Ling Ji said that China has actively engaged international investment cooperation to promote the construction of a green Silk Road, with good results. As the world’s largest renewable energy market, China hopes that all countries can share the dividends of the Chinese market and jointly create a fair, open and non-discriminatory policy environment for sustainable trade and investment.
The forum was co-hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the United Nations Development Program. The meeting was addressed by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Mustafayev, Fiji’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Cooperatives, SMEs and Communications Manoa Seru KAMIKAMICA,Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, UNCTAD Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan, and UN Under-Secretary-General and UNDP Associate Administrator Haoliang Xu.
